Program description
Fusor is an AI receptionist for businesses. Fusor AI, Inc. provides each business it serves with a dedicated phone number, and the business publishes that number as its own contact phone number. When you text that number, the Fusor receptionist (with human team takeover) replies to you in the same conversation.
Every text message from Fusor is a reply to a conversation that you started. Fusor never sends the first message, and Fusor SMS is never used for marketing, promotions, or third-party messages of any kind.
How you opt in
There is exactly one way to opt in: you send the first text message to a Fusor-powered number that a business has published as its contact number. Starting that conversation is your consent to receive conversational replies about your request in that same thread. There is no website sign-up form and no checkbox for Fusor SMS — opt-in happens only when you text a Fusor-powered number first.
Nothing else opts you in. Giving a business your phone number, booking a call, or being a customer of a business does not opt you into SMS. If you have not texted first, Fusor does not text you.
Fusor's own contact number is published this way on our contact page, with the opt-in disclaimer displayed directly beneath the number.
Where you see Fusor-powered numbers
Fusor-powered numbers appear on the touchpoints each business already uses for its contact details: its website contact page, Google Business Profile, invoices, email signatures, and signage. The number is presented as the business's own contact number that can be called or texted.
Fusor requires organizations to display the following disclaimer wherever they publish a Fusor-powered number as a textable contact number. A live example is Fusor's own contact number on our contact page. This is how the standard presentation looks for an example business:
ACME Supply Co.
Call or text: (XXX) XXX-XXXX
The example business and number above are placeholders; each business displays its own name and its own Fusor-powered number. The underlying template reads:
By texting this number, you agree to receive conversational text messages from [Business name], powered by Fusor AI, Inc. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. SMS terms: gofusor.com/sms. Privacy: gofusor.com/privacy.
Rejoining after you opt out
If you have opted out by replying STOP and want to resume the conversation, text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same business number. You will receive this confirmation message:
Fusor: You are now opted in to customer-care messages from Fusor AI, Inc. Message frequency varies. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms: https://gofusor.com/sms/
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies based on the conversation you started. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Fusor also honors STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, and REVOKE as opt-out requests.
After you opt out, you may receive one additional message confirming your opt-out. Fusor will not send further SMS messages on that channel unless you opt back in by texting START, YES, or UNSTOP.
Help
Reply HELP for help. You can also contact Fusor at support@gofusor.com.
